Berlin needs new housing - not just for the people living here now, but also for all those who will move to our city in the coming years.

There is sufficient land available to build these homes and it is especially important to us that whatever living space is created is also affordable for low and middle-income earners. All stakeholders in the housing market are therefore called upon to become involved with their own housing projects, because only through working closely together can this task be accomplished. By creating the new Housing Coordination Office, we have also created a new and competent point of contact.
